Then i remembered that I have actually never made Sanrio's Pom Pom Purin character before. Since I could create Pom Pom Purin using egg sheet, I thought it could be perfect for a quick character bento.
To make the egg sheet, I added a bit of milk to the egg mixture, so as to give it a creamy yellow colour.
The ingredients for Pom Pom Purin were easy! The body is made of thin egg sheet; mushroom for the hat and seaweed for the features.
The side dishes were: garlic stir fry asparagus with prawns, spicy lotus root and mushroom, edamame beans and lettuce. Some of the decorative food ingredients included ribbon shaped pasta, apple shaped pasta, pudding chocolate.
Pom Pom Purin is a golden retriever dog character that Sanrio introduced in 1996. He is always wearing his dark brown beret and loves eating pudding. Interestingly, Pudding in Japanese is pronounced as 'purin', hence his name I suppose :)

サンリオのポムポムプリンのキャラベンを作りました。ピリンさんは、薄焼き卵と海苔とキノコを使ったんです。
おかずは：えびとアスパラ炒め、レンコンとキノコソテー、枝豆、レタス。
