Hina-matsuri 「雛祭り」, Doll's Day or Girl's Day in Japan, is celebrated on 3rd March. It is a special day to pray for the well-being and happines for daughters. Beautiful Hina Ningyo Dolls are displayed on tiered doll-stand in homes, and chirashisushi is often eaten.
One year ago, I taught a Hina-matsuri character bento at Liang Court and on this coming Saturday, I am returning to the mall again to teach another Hina-matsuri bento design. Thank you Liang Court for the invitation :)
