Alive Musuem Singapore

Alive Museum Singapore, an Illustionary Entertainment Musuem from Korea has opened here since June 2014. Thank you Alive Museum team and omy.sg for the generous invitation to check out this cool place.
Alive Museum first started in Korea as a Trick Art Museum in Seong-eup, Jeju Island. They have sinced rebrand themselves as 'Alive Musuem' and there are 15 branches globally, with Singapore being the latest addition to the list. Singapore's brand is also the largest and biggest Illusionary Entertainment Musuem.
Using the visual effects of trick art, object art and digital art, you can snap a photo and be seen has owning a pair of angle wings, riding on a huge bird, toppling a frame filled with water and fishes, enjoying a paper boat ride, hanging for your dear life above a crocodile's gaping mouth!
Trick Art is essentially using 3D painting works to 'trick' your eye into an illusionary imagery. These artwork are also hand painted by artists from the Alive Musuem. Digital Art uses technology for the same effect. While Object Art uses installations and objects to bring out the illusion. Bulk of the exhibits were Trick Art, followed by Object Art pieces.
Sprawling over 10,000 sqft, Alive Musuem Singapore has more than 80 artwork exhibits. As part of Alive Museum’s efforts to refresh and reinvigorate visitors’ experiences, 30% of paintings will be changed annually.
So in this post, you will see quite a number of me in the photos :P hahha usually not so common in my food related postings. Check out these awesome 'trick' photos.
Alive Musuem would be a great recreational and entertainment activity, it could be a different idea for date night , or some good family fun too!
Conveniently located at Level 3 of Suntec City Mall Tower 3 & 4, I highly recommend that you bring as little bags and belongings so it would be much easier when you need to jump into the museum exhibits to take photos. (there is no locker facilities at the venue).
If schedule allows, do also try to go during non peak hours, a less crowded musuem will mean a easier and better experience as there is less queuing to take the photos and also trying to find space to stand and not get in the way of others.
As you might need to squat, jump, pose and even lie down for the photos :P it is good to also wear comfortable wear (short skirts are definitely not good!). Pants or jeans that allows movement are good choices.
I am new to such trick art / object art/ digital art entertainment experience and enjoyed myself very much during the visit!
Plus, no one is there to stop you to take photos (in fact they probably encourage you to take photos - that is the whole point!), yes this is one musuem that you MUST bring your camera with you and best to be with a companion too. This way, you can help each other to take photos too. Some of the photos are also really fun to share on your social media channels~!
