Today is the Cooking Workshop organised by omy.sg for the Singapore Blog Awards 2013 - Panasonic Best Cooking Blog Finalists. Woo hoo~~
If you don't already know, my bento blog is one of the finalist.
We gathered at Onaka Restaurant for this cooking workshop, led by Chef Jason and Chef Benson. They used the Panasonic rice cooker, blender and microwave oven with steam, and shared some really creative and yummy recipes.
I definitely echo-ed what the chefs mentioned, home cooking really isn't that tedious or difficult. In fact, with these high tech kitchen appliances, a lot of cooking time can be shorten and simplified.

Really. I am a full time office worker, with just a tiny extra effort, one can make really wholesome and not to mention cute packed lunches.
Panasonic will be sending me the appliances real soon, I have some bento recipes inside me! OOoooo can't wait to share them with you.

I will post the recipes up soon, getting the soft copies from the organisers. I would definitely recommend the apple pastille. It is yummy and easy! Definitely a party pleaser :) the outer layer is popiah skin, and it is baked, healthy! :)
