What happens when a group of bento artists get together???
I was really so so happy as I was once again able to meet up with amazing bento artists Angie san from HippoMum Bento.Cafe and also Maki san from Cuteobento.com in my Tokyo trip.
We went to Tokyo Skytree Solamachi mall(pronounced as Soramachi in Japanese). Shop together and had afternoon tea.
It was quite amusing that we were all so in unison at being attracted and fascinated by kitchenware and bento-ware stores :P haha
One store that we loved was Afternoon Tea. Popular, they have outlets too in other parts of Tokyo.
The Afternoon Tea Living sells really pretty lifestyle goods like kitchenware, aprons, bathroom items, clothes and even bags.

Me and Maki san also bought the same beautiful lunchbox (See below) from the Afternoon Tea Living store.
I have been seeing this particular bento box used by other bento makers and really liked it! Am so happy that I have managed to get one for myself!
The three of us then moved on to have tea together at Afternoon Tea Tearoom. Yes, they have both a store and cafe space (just opposite of each other).
It was so much fun as the cafe was having a special menu campaign for a customised shortcake tea set called Two Is Fun! Actually they forget to add that three is awesome!

Under the Two is Fun menu, one can order a set and can choose ingredients from a list that ranges from fruits, seasonal items, sauces, toppings etc. Price is charged per person.
You can then decorate your own shortcake slice. Afternoon Tea is also having a Facebook Contest for the customised shortcake design. How fun!
