Meet ickle and Lardee, the two little super awesome milk teef from Inhae's My Milk Toof.
Inhae is one of the most amazing artists I am following. She photographs, and blogs about the hilarious minature adventures of her two milk teef. A blog phenomenon, she is now an author of two books! I own one of them, and hoping to buy her second book soon.

I have always wanted to make a My Milk Toof character bento, yesterday I did a sketch and thought it will be so cute to portray these milk teef.
ickle is the smaller tooth, the smart and curious one who loves to read. Lardee, is the slightly more pudgy one, so loveable! (actually they both are)
Today I made my own story line, where ickle and Lardee is off to the library. And Lardee, brings his most hilarious and inapproriate collection of sweets and balloons. :D
The ingredients for ickle and Lardee were rice, seaweed and crabstick. So easy! The 'book' on ickle's head was made from cheese, seaweed and ham. While the box of 'sweets' was simply a hard pressed tofu square (known as tau kwa here) that I added some candy bento picks.
The side dishes for the bento included baked salmon fillet, shiitake mushroom, prawns, carrot and sauteed jumbo Japanese green beans.

キャラ弁のおかずは：焼き鮭、椎茸、エビ、ニンジン、枝豆、サヤマメのソテー。
