After some online research, I realised that this cat character is actually from Neko Neko Bakery (http://cp.dengeki.com/nekoneko/index.html). Neko Neko Bakery started as a 4 panel comic and was subsequently used to develop a DS game.
The game looks really cute, a puzzle game with cute baked goods.
I used the leftover purple rice from yesterday and also didnt make the chef hat cause I was in a rush of time and also didnt have extra hanpen left to cut the chef hat :P Hahah I think I really should have made the chef hat. :P oh well~~~

このぶっちてんちょーのキャラクターはKaerenmamaの本ではじめて見ました。
可愛いネコキャラクターですね。おいしいねこパンが評判のパン屋さん、「ねこねこベーカリー」の店長です。
ねこねこベーカリーは４コママンガです。それに、DSのゲームです。 わいい焼き菓子のパズルゲームを、本当にかわいいですね。
時間がないから、シェフコック帽を作らなかったんです。ごめんなさい〜〜

The side dishes for the bento were tamagoyaki, sweet potato croquette, sauteed sweet peas, seasoned carrot strips and lettice.

おかずは卵焼き、玉子、サツマイモのコロッケ、オランダえんどうのソテー、にんじん、レタス。
