I spotted these at the Cold Storage's Japanese Spring Festival at Plaza Singapura atrium.
The festival is happening now and ends on 13 April 2014, do check it out if you have time or if you are in the area :)
The fair is not very big, there are some interesting products. Here are my four favorite picks! ;)
Best time to get season-limited sakura sweets and snacks during this spring time, these products which otherwise are usually not available after the season.
So I am always intrigued by such season-limited goods. Plus sakura food products are always so pretty!
Those who love onigiri with fish flakes fillings or if you like enjoy rice toppings, you are in luck. These are going for only $6.80 (almost 50% and more discount from the usual ones I buy at the Japanese supermarkets).
Plus they have the bonito fish and also the yellowtail fish versions , in addition to the usual salmon fish. So I grabbed a bottle each.
My favorite ones have got to be the Yuzu followed by Ponkan flavours.
Both are so refreshing and perfect for the warm weather now. Plus the yuzu one is not too sweet, simply lovely!
Authentic japanese rice from Japan (from Akita and Niigita prefectures) at a discount.
These rice are definitely pricier than the usual US grown rice but I always go for Japan's Japanese rice as they are a lot fluffy and softer. :) Plus I really love rice and eating them is an enjoyment for me.
