Today is the 10th year anniversary with my partner and also marks 4 years of marriage. I am very grateful and thankful to be blessed with the love and companionship as we grow old together.
To mark this special day, I made a Anniversary Bento featuring an old couple, because this is what I want - to grow old hand in hand with my husband.
My husband is not very outward in his expression of romance (which I admit sometimes annoy me :P) but over the decade he has shown me his constant steady love through all the little things he does. How he helps to fix the machines and stuff in the house (though that sometimes need some nagging), how he helps do the laundry without me even asking, how he plays alongside with me and my stuffed toy cause he knows that makes me happy, and so on...
Sure, a relationship requires constant work, in fact a lot of work, I believe more so after getting married than while we were dating.
As we get all comfortable with each other, I think the most important thing is to continue to 'date' each other.
I do hope that my husband and I will continue 'date' each other and remember the things about each other that make our hearts skip a beat. The occassionally message notes, movie date, dinner date, holidays and surprises can also help spice things up.

The ingredients for the old couple were: rice, teriyaki sauce, seaweed, somen (thin while japanese wheat noodles).
The side dishes were scrambled eggs with prawns, sauteed french beans with mushroom and chicken, and lettuce.
それから、特別な記念日のキャラ弁を作りたかったです。キャラクターは老夫婦ですよ～。材料は飯、照り焼きソース、海苔、素麺。
キャラ弁のおかずはエビのスクランブルエッグ、キノコとチキンとサヤマメのソテー、レタス。
