Most of you might already know! Japan has won the bid for Tokyo to host the Olympic Games in 2020!~ Sugoi!!! (∩゜∀｀∩)ｷｬ━━ｯ!!
Congratulations to Japan and all my Japanese friends! :) Haha another reason to go to Japan in 2020~~its like 7 years from now but still so exciting~!
I was so excited that I had to make this bento yesterday after reading the news! Even though I usually take a break from bento making during the weekends. :P
I made all the popular Japanese characters come together in this bento to celebrate Tokyo's win as the Olympic Games host city! Rilakkuma, Hello Kitty and Anpanman are all here!!

そして、東京オリンピックのキャラベンを作りたかったです。リラックマ、キティちゃんとアンパンマンは一緒に祝いました。やった！！

Bento Box used - Monbento (white)
This bento box is a good size and comes in both single or double tier box with leak proof inner lids. For this bento, I used only one of the tiers.
I personally like the white color as it lets the character bento stand out. But they come in varied colors. The bento boxes are available at Bento&Co online store (here)
