Bugs Bunny is the funny grey hare/rabbit character from Looney Tunes by Warner Bros. Looney Tunes was definitely part of my childhood days. What about you? Heheh.
Interestingly, when I was reading up about Bugs Bunny, I found out that the character's first appearance was actually not from the Looney Tunes cartoon series. Instead, it first appeared in a 1940 cartoon, titled A Wild Hare.
I wanted to make a bunny theme bento since Easter is nearing. Easter always makes me think of eggs and bunnies :P
This is the first Bugs Bunny Bento I have made.
I needed a quick bento today. So I made seaweed cutting of Bugs Bunny last night, and this morning all I needed to do was to cook the side dishes and assemble the bento!

For the seaweed cutting of Bugs Bunny character. I printed an image from the internet, clipped it over a seaweed sheet. I then use my ACTO knife and cut out the outlines.
Following that, I adhere the seaweed cut outs to the oblate sheets (edible sheets) and added just a thin layer of coloring for the grey and pink parts.
そして、今日バッグス・バニーのキャラベンを作りました。Amazonで買ったの写し絵シートセットをするのが楽しかった。オブラートのシートは食べられますよ。オブラートのシートを使って、バッグス・バニーのキャラクターを作りました。
おかずはブロッコリ、レタス、オター（中華の辛い蒲鉾）、海老、卵焼き。

The side dishes were otah (spicy asian fish cake), steamed prawns, tamagoyaki, broccoli and some tiny carrot furikake toppings.
